I really enjoy calling families (usually talk to the Mom) to tell them we are sending them a grant check for their adoption.  The gratitude and emotion expressed back to us many times are overwhelming.  I won’t be able to recreate the experience in an email, but I want to tell you about a call Ron and I made today (Dec 4).

When she answered our phone call, Kelly was at the Atlanta airport with her son waiting to get on a flight to Kiev Ukraine to bring home her two new children.  See the attached family photo; they already have 7 adopted children.  We told her we were ready to send her a grant for $5,000, which is a small portion of their total adoption cost.  She was so thankful, crying a little, and said she wanted to scream in the airport.  She thanked me profusely, and said, “God bless you.”  I said back to her, “God bless you”.  And she immediately responded, “He does, all the time.”

2019 was our biggest year so far, giving $140,000 in grants, and passing $550,000 in total grant amounts given to adoptive families – supporting 158 adopted children – since we started in 2013.

Thank you to all of our donors who make this ministry possible.  Merry Christmas!
